In effort to continue the work of providing free HIV testing to persons at-risk, APLA Health Prevention Department created an at home HIV testing program called “Swab and Chill”. Swab and Chill will enable us to provide services to those who are unable to visit our clinic due to current (and evolving) social distancing guidelines brought on by COVID-19. Additionally, it will be an alternative for those reluctant to visiting HIV testing centers due to stigma, fear, or a desire to find out their results in the privacy of their home.
